DOZYÉ

Nigerian-born · Los Angeles
Abstract artist
Founder, Dozyé’s Abstract Studio

Working between chaos and beauty, Dozyé uses abstraction to explore emotion, memory and identity. Fingerprints, footprints, scraped surfaces and fragments of language build a physical vocabulary of gesture and repetition.

His intuitive practice includes painting under red light, altering his perception of colour and depth so instinct and movement can guide the work. Beyond the canvas, his studio brings art into conversation with music, fashion, skate culture and youth access.
