KAZADI

Congolese painter
Born in Atlanta · Raised in Paris

Emmanuel Kazadi is a Congolese painter born in Atlanta and raised in Paris. Working primarily in oil, he brings expressive figuration and bold, instinctive marks to paintings shaped by memory, movement and cultural belonging.

His practice draws on experiences across Africa, Europe and America, exploring the shifting identities of people whose lives unfold between places, languages and traditions.
